Alfred E. Thompson, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at home. Alfred was a member of St. Paul AME Church in Owensboro. He was employed with the Job Corp as an Insight Trainer. He was the founder of Second Chance Kentucky Website, and the outstanding running back for Owensboro High School and Eastern Kentucky University. He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Thompson; also a brother, Corbett Thompson. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn the loss of his passing his mother, Bernice Thompson; one daughter, Nicki Millan; two sons, Keenan Thompson and Luis Thompson; one grandchild; two brothers, Randal (Gloria) Thompson, and Terence Thompson; two sisters, Jean A. Coleman and Alfreda Thompson Williams. Services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Fourth Street Baptist Church. Burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
