Carrie Rachael Brown, 52, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away on January 7, 2024 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born January 27, 1971, in Oakland, California. She was preceded in death by; her parents Ronald Jackson Brown and Frances Sue Brown (née Tipton) of Arlington, Texas; her aunt Jessie Mae Leduc (née Tipton) of Arlington, Texas; and her brother. She was a voracious reader of comics, books, and fanfiction. She was a master of comic book knowledge, especially the DC Universe; and an avid role-player and tabletop gamer, favoring Tumblr and Dungeons & Dragons. She was also skilled at writing, punning, and learning about various things like minerals and mythologies. She enjoyed watching videos of animals, especially cats and kittens; playing video games like Pokémon and Animal Crossing; and listening to music like the Moody Blues and Celtic Woman. She was well-educated and could keep more in her head than most. She also had a good heart and did her best to bring happiness to others. Her sense of fairness was unmatched, and she had a great sense of humor. She brightened the lives of all her loved ones, had the strength to endure far more than she should have, and deserved far better than her circumstances granted. Funeral arrangements will be private.
