Cecelia "Diane" Sherman, 64, of Owensboro went to be with The Lord, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born August 29, 1950 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Abel and Katie Ray and Joseph Tutt and Nina Brown Tutt. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Barnes; two brothers, Melvin Tutt and David Tutt; one daughter, Dana Tutt and one grandson, Tajwone Jackson. She was a member of Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church. She loved cooking, sewing, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her dedicated husband, Jesse B. Sherman, Jr.; four daughters, Robin (Oliver) Williams, Angela Tutt, Tajha (Dewone) Jackson and LaKeisha Sherman; two sons, Robbie Tutt and Jesse Sherman; one sister, Debbie Young; three brothers, Rev. Terry Tutt, Joe Billy(Diane) Tutt and Tony Tutt; a special cousin who she loved like a sister, Shelia "Annie" Smith; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation from noon to 1:00 p.m. Burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
