Charles Edward "Eddie" McCormick, 83, of Owensboro, departed this life on Saturday April 06, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Willie Mae McCormick; one son, Mark Calhoun; one granddaughter, Aretha McCormick; one great nephew Chance Morrow; one brother, Herschel Morrow and two sisters, Carolyn Barnes and Gracie Holt. He retired from Owensboro Daviess County Hospital and River Valley Behavioral Health. Eddie graduated from Western High School. He enjoyed watching movies and playing old songs, also spending time with his sister. His favorite foods were baby back ribs with macaroni and cheese. He leaves to cherish his legacy of love, three daughters, Jackie (Henry) Sellers, Tammy Calhoun (Bruce) Ayres, and Tammy Michelle Baize; one foster daughter, Latoya White; one foster son, Tristan Bowling; one step-son, Danny Nesmith; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby (Mary Helen) McCormick and Herman (Renee) McCormick; one sister, Barbara Winstead; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
