Charles Irvin McHenry, 69, of Owensboro departed this life on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Iva Mae McHenry Jr. He also was preceded in death by four brothers, John L, William R, James R, and George A. McHenry; three sisters, Sue Mae Robinson, Ada R. McHenry, and Eula Ann Boyd. Charles was retired from the City of Owensboro Sanitation Department after many years. He was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn the loss of his passing; his companion, Isophine Coleman, three brothers, Lawrence(Leola) McHenry, Clark(Nancy) McHenry, Bernard (Cathy) McHenry; two sisters, Mary Helen (Bobby) McCormick, and Joyce A. McHenry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Memorial Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Fourth Street Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 9:30 am to 11:00 am Saturday at the Church.
