In Loving Memory of Darmeaco Shamar Molina February 15, 1987 – May 23, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darmeaco Shamar Molina, 38, who departed this life on May 23, 2025, after a long battle with heart illness. Born on February 15, 1987, in Riverside, California, Darmeaco was a beloved son, and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. Darmeaco gave the preacher his hand and the Lord his heart uniting with Asbury United Methodist Church. Darmeaco graduated from Owensboro High School in 2005 and went on to build a career in both financial and food services. As a loan officer at US Bank for five years, he helped many in his community, offering guidance with kindness and integrity. He also served as the General Manager of Long John Silver's, where his leadership and dedication made a lasting impact. He was preceded in death and reunited in eternal peace with his cherished grandparents Odis and Georgianna Wilson; an uncle Odis Wilson Jr.; two aunts Linda Wilson Baker and Jacquetta Wilson (his second mother); and a cousin Lamar Crowe. Darmeaco leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his three children La'Nyla, Marquan, and Shamarwyn Molina; his mother Rhodelia Wilson Molina and the mother of his children Brittany Molina. He will be dearly missed by his aunts Rev. Brenda Wilson Graham, Odis Mae Newbern, Bridgett Wilson, and Sis. Dorrita (Pastor Michael) Ashley. We find solace in knowing that Darmeaco was welcomed into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His unwavering faith and deep love for his family will forever be remembered. A celebration of Darmeaco's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday June 7, 2025 at McFarland Funeral Home, 1001 W. 5th St, Owensboro, KY 42301, where friends and family can come together to honor his memory. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Visitation will from noon until time of the service.
