Dorothy Crowe Flowers, 70, of Owensboro, departed this life on Thursday May 18, 2017 at the Hospice Heartford House. She was born in Utica, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Crowe Sr. and Ollie Crowe Purcell, also one son, Daniel Flowers, and one brother, Leslie Crowe Jr. She was retired from General Electric Motor Plant in Owensboro. Dorothy was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. Dorothy leaves to mourn the loss of her passing and cherish her memories: one son, Aaron (Nicole) Flowers, one step-daughter, Tanya Acton, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Kenneth (Niramonwan) Crowe, James Crowe, six sisters, Bobbie Crowe, Ophelia (Darrell) Haire, Alesia (Henry) Morgan, Jacqueline Board, Sharon (Jeff) Young, Karen (Nathaniel) Batson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Services will at 9:30 AM Saturday at Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday and 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM Saturday at McFarland Funeral Home.
