Elana Laverne Schenk, two months, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024 after a short stay here on Earth with her parents, Cameron Schenk and Cassidy Estes of Hartford, KY. While visiting here, she made a tremendously positive and loving impact on all of those who encountered her tiny embrace. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her great-grandparents, Gary and Marsha Schenk, Sheryl and Robert Maldonado, and Cynthia and Ronald Woodrum; paternal grandparents, Heather (Karl Fratzke) Schenk-Fratzke and Ryan (Heather Pugh) Schenk; maternal grandparents, Bobbi Maldonado Estes and Christopher Estes; two aunts, Natalie Fratzke and Haley Estes; two uncles, Roman Schenk and Parker Schenk; and lots of other family members who also loved her. A gathering of those who wish to celebrate their love for Elana will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday August 2, 2024, at McFarland Funeral Home, 1001 W 5th St, Owensboro, KY.
