Georgia Lee Hall, 84, of Owensboro departed this life on Tuesday October 09,2018 at home. She was born in Owensboro to her parents the late Robert Johnson and Mattie Speaks, she also was preceded in death by her husband, JD Hall; one son, Robert Hall; her companion, Carl Lee Douglas; two sisters, Berna Johnson and Mary Bush; two great-grandchildren, Key'Shaun and Amaunie; one step-son, Larry Hall. She was a member of Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church. Many years ago, she gave the preacher her hand and the Lord her heart when she joined the Tenth Street Baptist Church. As a proud member of the 50 Year Membership Club and one of the oldest members, she often shared fond memories of pastors and members of the Tenth Street family. She possessed a quiet gentle spirit and was truly loved by her church family. She loved spending time with her family, playing bingo and cards. Georgia Lee leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memories, one daughter, Lisa Hall and her companion, Michael Leachman, two grandsons, Drew Hall and Wayne Hall; two granddaughters, Tiresha Hall and Lekisha Hall; (9) great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two step-sons, Jerome Hall and Dee Dee Hall and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
