Gladys Davidson 88, of Whitesville went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday June 3, 2017. She was at home surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren when she departed this life. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. We loved her but God loved her best. She was born in Sunny Side, KY. Gladys was a member of The Church of the Living God, PGT, she served as a deaconess at her church. She loved quilting, gardening, and working puzzles. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents Sim and Pauline Hibbitt, one son, Virgil Davidson and daughter-in-law, Sheila Davidson, one son-in-law, Billy Neal. She leaves to cherish her memories and mourn the loss of her passing her husband of 65 years, Paul Davidson; two sons, Curtis (Vicki) Davidson and Charles (Martha) Davidson; one step-son, Clarence L. Davidson; two daughters, Pauline (McCellus) Mays, and Doretha Neal; one step-daughter, Kathy (Eli) Fletcher; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 25 step great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild; one brother, Ervin (Janie) Hibbitt; one aunt, Betty Tody; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
