Gloria Cecilia Dean Hayden Adams was born to the union of Lonnie Lee Hayden and Esther Marie Hunter. She was born and raised in the town of Owensboro, Kentucky on July 31, 1939. Gloria graduated from Blessed Sacrament School and graduated from Brescia University in 1997. She also attended Owensboro Vocational School. She was united in holy matrimony to Benjamin Franklin Adams on April 17, 1965, at Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Owensboro, KY. From this union she was blessed with a son. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, and served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord with Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Gloria was the Diocese of Owensboro 2003 Sophia Award Winner. Gloria departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Benjamin Franklin Adams, and son, Benjamin Franklin Adams, and his children; Tyler Adams, Brandi Adams, Brooklyn Adams, Benjamin Adams, Courtland Burroughs, Benjamin Adams, Walter English, and Uriah English. She is also survived by her sister Helen R. Smith, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
