Jerard A. Fountain Sr., 36, of Owensboro, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 12, 1980 to Norma Fountain Cox and Anthony McHenry. Jerard had been employed by A&A Lawn Service and METALSA where he was an ASA welder. Jerard loved to spend time with his fiancée, Cierra, and their children. He enjoyed participating in youth football and he loved to watch sports. He leaves to keep his memory and mourn his passing his mother, Norma Cox, of Owensboro; his father, Anthony (Tonia) McHenry of Georgia; his step-father, George Cox, of Central City; three children, Jirell Buckner, Janaivean Fountain and Jerard A. Fountain Jr; his fiancée, Cierra Board; seven brothers, Jearrod Fountain, Sr., Adrian "Mark" McKenzie, Cory Johnson, and Adam Brown all of Owensboro, Vinson Johnson of Arizona, Anthony McHenry Jr of Covington, GA, and William Fountain, III of Madisonville, KY; three sisters, Ebony McHenry of Atlanta, Georgia (Clint) Lindsey of Owensboro, and Latoya McHenry of Covington, GA; two nieces, Leeann and Jearica Fountain; and one nephew, Jearrod Fountain Jr. Services will be at Noon on Friday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the church. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. McFarland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
