John was cherished by his family and friends alike for his kind heart, quick wit, and unwavering dedication to those around him. Born on October 9, 1955, to the late John Roger Horn and Margaret Hibdon, John grew up in Owensboro and led a life filled with meaning and purpose. His career as a heavy equipment operator spanned several years, during which he was admired for his dedication and skillful operating technique. Beyond his professional life, John found joy in wrestling, motorcycling, and mechanical work endeavors, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and inspiration. John is survived by his close surviving family members, including children, grandchildren, and siblings, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a son. John Wayne Horn touched the lives of so many and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will never be forgotten.
