In Loving Memory of Lisa Marie Powell, 53 Born in Cresson, Pennsylvania on January 14, 1972 and resided in Owensboro, Kentucky Lisa's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love, laughter, and boundless creativity. Born and raised in the scenic town of Cresson, Pennsylvania, she inherited a deep appreciation for nature and a curious spirit that led her to explore the world around her. That spirit eventually guided her to Owensboro, Kentucky, where she rooted herself in a community she cherished and devoted her life to raising her children. She was the beloved daughter of Pauline and William DeLozier, sister to Billy DeLozier, and half-sister to Robert Cijika. Lisa was a nurturing and fiercely devoted mother to Dylan Canary and Tristin Cartwright, and a guiding presence in the lives of all their friends—who lovingly called her "the coolest mom ever." Her longtime companion and caretaker, Jerry Stewart, stood faithfully by her side, offering love and strength throughout their years together. Whether she was tending to her garden or bringing life to a new craft, Lisa's hands were always busy creating beauty. She was a woman of action, known for her grounded strength and for bringing joy into every space she entered. Her passion for spreading kindness and laughter made her a pillar in her circle, and her best friend, Crystal Hodgson-Peterson, shared countless moments of comfort, joy, and memory-making with her. Lisa built connections wherever she went—be it with friends, family, or the many young lives that found a second home in hers. Her legacy is not only in the children she raised, but in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the countless crafts that still decorate hearts and homes. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished.
