Mary Lee McDermott, age 65, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 7, 1961. She passed away in Owensboro, Kentucky June 20, 2026,  leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and unwavering loyalty to those she held dear.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Clariene (Mingus) Wiesemann; her father, James McDermott; her sister, Angela Hope (Scott) Wiesemann; and her infant son, Jamie Temples.

She is survived by her son, Brent Allen Lee Temples; her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Ann Temples; and her niece, Natalie Anastasia (Wiesemann) Maravilla.

Mary was a sweet soul beloved by many.  Her life was defined by service, love, and commitment to the people she cared about. She surrounded herself with friends and family—both by blood and by choice—who were the center of her world. Through every chapter of her life, she showed what truly mattered to her: love, loyalty, and dedication. Her gentle spirit and steadfast heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.   She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. No services pending.
