Quentin Lamar Coleman, age 41, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly in Fort Myers, Florida, on April 19, 2026. Born on August 27, 1984, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Quentin was a beloved son, father, brother, and uncle whose life, though short, touched many and will be remembered with love by all who knew him. He had a deep passion for sports, took pride in his work as an electrician, and especially enjoyed basketball—both supporting his brother and refereeing games.

Quentin was preceded in death by his father, the late Marshall Quentin Coleman.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jocelyn and Lamar Coleman, both of Woodbury, Minnesota; his mother, Faith Aileen Coleman Nimitz (Walter) of Sandstone, Minnesota; his sister, RaeVonne Coleman of Bethesda, Maryland; her sons, Marcus Coleman and Naquan Sheppard of Minneapolis, Minnesota, with whom he shared a special and loving bond; his brother, Marshall D. Coleman of Owensboro, Kentucky (Uricka), and their daughter, Dayjuan; his brother, Eric N. Coleman (Alyssa), and his children, Eric Jr. of North Dakota, and Johnavon, Sophie, and Elijah of Minneapolis, Minnesota, along with Dan Riley, Jamison Johnson, and Nick Johnson, his cousins with whom he shared a bond like brothers; and Jensen Harris and Tyren Bonds, close friends who were like family and shared in his upbringing; along with extended family and loved ones who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Quentin’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through those who loved him.

Funeral services are pending at this time.
