Sandra Louise Palmer Carrero -Kent, 74, of Owensboro departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Owensboro Center Genesis. She was born in Owensboro to her parents; the late Norman and Naomi Palmer, she also was preceded in death by five brothers; NC Palmer, John Thomas Palmer, Rev. George Palmer, Douglas Palmer, and Rev. Keith Palmer, four sisters; Lucille Bradley, Jennie Rose Pittman, Lorena Baird, and Geraldine Fountain Gibbs, her husband; William Kent Jr. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Owensboro, where she served on the mothers' board until declining health. She was a former member of Mount Calvary Baptist church in Evanston, IL. where she was a member of the usher board and served faithfully as a door keeper. Sandra leaves to cherish her memories two sons; Derrick and Paul Carrero, three daughters; Aleda and Valerie Carrero and Octavia Carrero-Fulkner, 18 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
