Sheila Kay Martin Davidson, 58, of Owensboro departed this life on Friday July 24, 2015 at home. She was born to the late George and Edna Martin in Booneville, IN., she was also preceded in death by her husband; Virgil Davidson in 1992, two granddaughters; Tyleesia and Brennlea. Sheila attended Fourth Street Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories and mourn the loss of her passing, her companion of Twenty three years; Kerry Carter, three sons; Vincent Davidson, Justin Davidson, Tyler Davidson, two step-daughters; Lanesha and Za'Mareha, one step-son; Markee, seven grandchildren, one sister; Patricia Carter, Father and mother in-law; Paul and Gladies Davidson, three brothers in-law; Curtis, Charles, Leroy Davidson three sisters in-law; Doretha Neal, Pauline Mays, Kathy Fletcher, a special brother; Glenn Woods and a host of nieces and nephews. Services are at 11:00 am Friday at Fourth Street Baptist Church. Burial in Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday at the church and 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday at the church. McFarland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
