Teresa Gail Vinson, 69, of Owensboro passed away Monday July 8th 2024 peacefully at the Heartford House, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born on February 4, 1955 to the late James Edward Short and Helen Ruth Ringham. She worked at Fern Terrace as a medical technician (med tech) for many years. She had a great sense of humor and a wild spirit. She liked to play Bingo, watch Westerns, and listen to Country music. Everyone that knew her knew her true love was Dr. Pepper and candy. Teresa is survived by her four children Michele Vinson, Joseph Vinson, Tabitha Vinson, and James Fulkerson; 10 grandkids Tyler, Marcus, Makayla, Tamarra, LaKeisha, DeAisa, DaQwuan, Treyvon, Lashawn, and Kayveon and 17 great-grandkids; three siblings: Roger Short, Kenny Short, and Cathy Short; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A small service will be held at 3pm on Saturday July 13th 2024 at Matthew's Table followed by a Celebration of Teresa's Life from 3:30 to 6:00 pm.
