Tommy Levoid Murray, Sr. June 10, 1954 – September 16, 2026

Tommy Levoid Murray, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at his home in Owensboro, Kentucky. Born on June 10, 1954, in Jackson, Mississippi, Tommy was the son of T.J. Murray and Margaret Murray. He graduated from Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois, with the Class of 1973.

Tommy dedicated many years to Unilever, building a career that carried him and his family across the country. His professional journey began in Chicago and later led him to California, New Jersey, and ultimately Owensboro, Kentucky, where he continued his work until his retirement. Each move marked a new chapter—new experiences, new communities, and new memories shared with those he loved.

A man who valued family above all else, Tommy enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and spending meaningful time with the people closest to him. Whether sharing stories, laughing together, or simply being present, he found joy in every moment spent with family. The memories created throughout his life will remain treasured by all who knew him.

Tommy leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his sons, Tommy Murray, Jr. and Curtis Kindle; his daughter, Shnina Murray‑Neal; his fiancée, Linda Winstead; his beloved grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded. Memorial service arrangements will be announced by the family.
