Ursella Theresa Downing (62) affectionately known as Teresa and Rabbit, was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2025. Born in Owensboro, Kentucky on May 3, 1962, Ursella was a God-fearing Christian woman who loved the Lord deeply and lived a life grounded in faith, compassion, and kindness. Ursella found joy in the simple yet profound blessings of life — especially in spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a heart big enough for everyone she met, never knowing a stranger and always ready to strike up a conversation or lend a helping hand. Her friendships spanned decades, a testament to her loyalty, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Tinsley Sr., her mother Sharon Murphy, her younger brother James Tinsley, and many other cherished loved ones who have welcomed her into the Kingdom of Heaven. Ursella leaves behind her devoted daughter Whitney Flowers (Demarcus) and her loving son Nathaniel Woolfolk. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Bryson, Savannah, and Sydney. She is also survived by her brothers Edward Tinsley Jr and Steven Haught (LaShawna) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless loved ones whose lives she touched with grace and joy. Ursella will be truly missed. She was an angel on earth, and now she walks the streets of gold, reunited with her heavenly family and resting in eternal peace. A celebration of life to honor Ursella's time on earth will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 3, 2025 at One Faith Fellowship, 1301 Tamarack Rd, Owensboro, KY 42301 with Apostle Nena Lynn officiating and Servant Raynarldo Maurice Henderson as eulogist.
