With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vi Allen, cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 19, 2024. Her vibrant personality and sense of humor will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Vi was born on January 30, 1949 in Breckenridge County. She is survived by daughters, Tina Hurm (Bob) and Donna Cain both of Owensboro. Surviving grandchildren include Miranda Jaggers, Travis Mansfield, Skylar Mansfield, Secret Hurm, Lillie Hurm, Spencer Hurm, and Jessie Hurm, as well as nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Walnut Memorial Baptist Church Tuesday, October 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with funeral service at 1:00. Burial will follow at Rosehill-Elmwood cemetery in Owensboro.
