Wilbur "Post "Jerome Hinton, 56, of Owensboro, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at home. He was born to the late William Hershel and LaQuetta Hinton. Wilbur was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn the loss of his passing three daughters, Selena Black, Kelly Board, and Cierra Board; (8) grandchildren; five brothers, Richard Reed, William "Rippo" (Lavern) Hinton, David Hinton, Kevin Hunter, and Darrell Hunter; four sisters, Johnnie M. Hinton, Susan(J.D.) Acton, Marjorie "Kay" (Robert) Davis, and Barbara Hinton; two aunts, Bettie (James) Washington and Marjorie Morton; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services are at noon Thursday at Fourth Street Baptist Church. Burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:00 am to noon Thursday at the church.
